Gordon Brown's Soundite Politics Come Back To Haunt Him

Gordon Brown famously said 'British jobs for British workers'.

He didn't mean it.

I knew when he said it that he was lying. Others did too. Many believed him however.

Now those words have wonderfully come back to haunt him.

He only said what he said in order to assuage people's fears over immigration. It was classic soundbite politics. Lies.

He knew when he said it that he couldn't stop foreign workers coming here because of EU law (and specifically how Britain has signed up to it).

But the real truth of the matter is he (and his party) don't want to stop foreign workers from taking the jobs of British workers because Labour don't give a shit about the British people because in the eyes of Labour we are all 'Europeans' - ie: one race, one nation one people etc etc.

This is perfect humiliation for Brown. Enjoy his squirming. And never before have I seen such a high profile example of senior politicians being exposed for the liars that they are.

What Has The Car Industry Ever Done For Me?

Okay, so yesterday we had announcements from the government (all hail) of measures to 'boost' the 'ailing' car industry. Lots of 'boosts' and 'ailings' nowadays you'll probably have noticed.

I can't be bothered to go over the details of the government's 'package' (lots of 'packages' at the moment as well of course), but suffice to say that they hope these 'measures' (lots of them also) will help the industry by amongst other things encouraging people to start buying new cars again.

Well I say to the car industry and the government: BOLLOCKS!!

I'm sorry but that's how I feel.

If I want to buy a new car then I'll buy a new car because I want to buy a new car, not to help the car industry (what have they ever done for me) or the government (ditto).

And if I want to keep my money in my arse pocket so to speak then that's exactly what I'll do.

Too much spending on crappy goods that we neither want nor need and cannot afford has got us into this mess in the first place and this ridiculous government of ours think amazingly that the self same thing will somehow get us out of this mess.

So with apologies to any car industry workers out there I'm not going to buy a new car and I am going to keep my money in my arse pocket. So there.

PS: and if Brown and co try to persuade me to buy other goods I don't really want just to 'kick start' (there's another) the economy then whatever it is that they're flogging they can bugger off too!

Kicked by Gordon Brown

So you've recently been laid off and you've got a job interview and sitting next to you going for the same job is a member of the long term unemployed.
If the employer takes YOU on he gets nothing. If the employer takes the long term unemployed man on he gets two and a half grand in his arse pocket courtesy of Gordon Brown.

How confident would YOU be of getting the job?

The 'recently redundant pissed off' have just become a bit more pissed off I think.

Talk about kicking people when they're down!

Well done Gordon.

Hypocrite Gordon Brown

So Gordon Brown flies off to the middle east to support our boys in the war on terror sanctioning crazy far away wars in crazy far away places while all the time he doesn't have the balls to stand up to the mad mullahs preaching hate in the mosques right under his nose back home in Blighty.

Community cohesion you see.

British Muslim Terrorists in India?

Were British Muslims involved in the Bombay attacks?

Some claim they were.

The 'rumours' have reached as high as Gordon Brown who said it was 'too soon to speculate'.

Since Gordon said that, there has been virtual silence on the subject.
A news blackout?

Soon, I think the shit's going to hit the fan over this one.
