Diarmaid Maccullough Hates Christianity?

I watched the last episode of the BBC's History of Christianity last night and for me the writer and presenter of the show Diarmaid Maccullough hit an unforgivable new low when he blamed Christianity for the Holocaust.
His reasoning for this was that Hitler had killed the Jews because he blamed them for killing Christ. I kid you not. Maccullough (whom I have blogged about previously) is supposed to be a Christian but must surely almost hate the religion if this awful series is anything to go by (is it because he's gay? - just asking).
Typical BBC stuff this, there is I believe now from the establishment a concerted anti Christian onslaught taking place - do they want it replaced by Islam? Probably.

Dhimmi Diarmaid MacCulloch

I watched the second episode of the BBC's 'History of Christianity' by Diarmaid MacCulloch last night and thought it was pretty typical PC left wing anti Christian BBC stuff really - and an eternal shame on them for that by the way, but what struck me most was the (gay) MacCulloch's 'feelings of 'shame' over the crusades (should we apologise?) and the only saving grace of the crusades he said was, I quote:

"Thanks to the Crusades Islam gave us Universities. My employer, Oxford University, was one of the first. Academic robes, professorial chairs, lectures, the qualification of a degree itself, are not Western ideas. They are all copied in remarkable detail from medieval Islamic schools of higher education."

Dhimmitude I think.

Does MacCulloch realise what Islam would like to do to openly gay Christians I wonder?

Of course he does but his hatred of the west is so great I feel that he'd happily sacrifice himself to see us fall.

Britain a Terrorist Training Camp?

Pretty good stuff from Melanie Phillips here today regarding Britain being a hub of Islamic extremism.

She's right.

We're sooooooooooo PC that we just cannot even start to get to grips with this huge potentially catastrophic problem.

I'm sure that our liberal masters would be quite happy for us to become an Islamic republic but -shhhh - they must do it quietly, don't want to wake up the plebs who may then turn nasty.

Unfettered immigration (plenty of white, right wing, working class, Christian, Polish amongst these though - a bit of a fly in the ointment for the liberals), the marginalisation and subtle ridiculing of the Christian faith, political correctness and the God of multiculturalism rammed down our throats at EVERY turn (particularly on children's TV it seems) are the weapons of choice of the liberal elite.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but if Britain is - as Iraq and Afghanistan are/were - hotbeds of radical Islamist terrorist training camps should the USA now perhaps be looking at invading us?

The Egging of Baroness Warsi

Quite big in the news this week was the 'egging' (by fellow Muslims) of Baroness Warsi, the Tory peer.

She was accused by the 'eggers' of not being a proper Muslim. One of them (Sayful Islam, a well known hardliner) said that just by looking at her you could tell that she was not a proper Muslim and that she was not a practising Muslim. He also said that he was against everything that she stands for and criticised her for supporting the war in Afghanistan.

The Baroness said afterwards that the 'eggers' were extremists who did not represent their community or faith - just like Nick Griffin. Quite how she can bring Nick Griffin into this I really don't know!!! (Still hurting after Question Time?)

But anyhow, who out of Sayful Islam - who is a man of conviction whatever you may think of his views - or Baroness Warsi - a career politician - best represents the word of Mohammed?

Game set and match to Sayful Islam I think.

Afghanistan Smokescreen

Foreign Secretary David Miliband has said today that Britain's military battle in Afghanistan 'is about the future of Britain'.

Mmm...... so we send an army half way around the world to fight a war against Islamist extremists but back home in GB we are actually letting the country flood with Muslims and bending over backwards to pander to their every whim.

I can't help thinking that Afghanistan is a distraction, created while the British hating Labour government quickly usher the radical Islamists in through the back door.

When the dust settles and the troops return home it will be too late.

The Islamists will be here.

Dutch Freedom of Speech

Bad news from Holland news.bbc.co.uk.

It would seem that it's not just in Britain that freedom of speech is dead, or is it freedom of speech is okay as long as you don't knock Islam?

Sophie Warne

The widely reported case of Ashan Sabri who knocked over and killed Sophie Warne has interested me in several ways over and above the 'breach of his human rights' way in which it has been mainly reported.

Firstly it was stated by Sabri's defense team (successfully appealing against his deportation to Pakistan) that because his wife is Christian she could possibly be persecuted in Pakistan.

If this is indeed true then where has the 'tolerant' Islam we hear so much about gone?

Could I get away with suggesting that a Christian might be persecuted for his/her beliefs in Pakistan?

I doubt it.

Secondly, Sabri got just three years for causing death by dangerous driving - he had no license also.

This sentence is obviously not long enough.

Thirdly, part of Sabri's defence was the fact that he has an eighteen month old daughter ('Family Life' argument), now then, if my maths is correct, eighteen months plus nine months (pregnancy) equals twenty seven, so, by my reckoning his daughter was conceived in July/August 2006.

He was, you may know, jailed for his crime in July 2005 - for three years - he shouldn't have been out in August 2006 and if he was and he then got his wife pregnant then it's obvious (fairly) why he got her pregnant and should now therefore be made inadmissible!

It all appears to have paid off for him.

Justice it seems, for Sophie Warne, has not been done.
