Phony Baloney Jobs

I've come to the conclusion that the country is being taken over by the 'Phony Baloney Job Brigade'.
These people I believe have pretty much invented their own jobs which then become invaluable.
But they are, as Mel Brooks said in the film Blazing Saddles 'Phony Baloney Jobs'.
If you look at any job page in a newspaper or online, then the plumbers, bricklayers, nurses, lorry drivers, postmen, shop assistants etc - ie: the real professions are outnumbered by all these (highly paid of course) nonsense (Phony Baloney) jobs such as: (and I quote) Community Manager, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, Business Strategist, Strategy Analyst, Innovation Advisor, Customer Insight Planner, Book Move Manager, Equality and Diversity Advisor, Neighbourhood Engagement Officer, Integrated Campaigns Manager... you get the picture.
Do these jobs actually do anything other than oil the greasy wheels of capitalism and enforce left wing brainwashing? No they don't.
It's all a load of self serving self important bollocks.
Come the revolution...

Welcome Home

Well I'm back from Turkey. Nice country, nice people, very hot.

I saw a woman on the beach over there in all the Muslim gear (don't know the technical terms), she was covered entirely other than her face. She looked uncomfortable especially when swimming. Her husband (in skimpy trunks) did not.

The newspapers are full of the same stuff as when I went away, ie: Jordan and Michael Jackson. Unbelievable.

I see at the weekend that there was violence between the anti Islamic extremist protesters and the UAF and assorted Muslim thugs. It'll get worse. The UAF has tried to tarnish the BNP with all of this. Blatant liars.

The baby P thing has been debated today on the grounds of 'should the killers be given anonymity when they come out'?

When they come out?! The fact that they should NOT come out doesn't even seem to be on the radar.

Welcome home...

Local Deaths

I read my local weekly newspaper today and when I got to the 'deaths' I found myself somewhat disappointed that no-one I knew had died.

I'm not sure what to make of my reaction to this to be honest!

A Load of Bollocks From WH Smiths

I went into WH Smiths this morning to buy a newspaper.
Simple enough transaction really.

When I got to the counter the assistant asked me 'would you care for a bag of mints today sir?' (people who have been on brainwashing sales courses always say today a lot), I declined the mints offering my money for the paper at which the assistant (not taking the money) said 'how about a Book of the Day sir?' at this point I nearly and instinctively said 'fuck off', but I didn't, I politely declined the book and paid for my paper.

She scanned the paper and then put the bloody thing in a carrier bag - and with a receipt to boot!

Talk about eco friendly - a friggin carrier bag for a newspaper!

And a receipt - whats that for? So that I can take the paper back if there's a fault with it? 'Can I have my money back for this newspaper please, it's gone wrong'.

Hard sell at the till, a carrier bag, a receipt - the whole thing was an absolute load of bollocks.

I'll go to the corner shop in future.
