This morning, according to the weather lady on BBC radio there was a 'snow event'. And tonight, according to the same lady there is going to be another 'snow event'.What!?
What the hell is she on about!?
I thought a 'snow event' was skiing, or snowboarding or the like.
I think what she really meant to say was that it snowed this morning and it's going to snow again tonight.
It seems to me that everything nowadays is infected with gobbledygook new Labour bullshit speak - even the weather!

Well, in my part of the country, (Lancashire) It was fairly "uneventful" and we all survived.
Light snow only, thankfully.
