Sir Win Bischoff, from Citigroup, said his industry was "partly to blame" and some within it did feel "remorse".
Sir Win Bischoff, from Citigroup, said his industry was "partly to blame" and some within it did feel "remorse".
He said forthcoming bonuses would be "way down" at his bank, which received a £35bn bailout from the US government
Citigroup lost $10.42 billion (about £7.2bn) between January and September 2008, and plans to cut 52,000 jobs by early this year
Wow!!!!!
They take some of the blame!
They feel remorse!
They lost ten billion dollars!
They are laying off fifty two thousand people!
They have been bailed out by the taxpayer to the tune of about fifty billion dollars!
Bonuses will be way down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, feeling remorse, taking the blame, losing money, taking state handouts and laying off thousands - and still they will pay themselves bonuses!!!!!!!!
I'm nearly lost for words.
These people have no shame, no morals and have brought the world to the brink.
We must not give them our (taxpayers) money.
We should imprison them for what they have done - and are still doing.
