Barack Obama's London News

According to the BBC's London ie: local news this morning the headline was Barack Obama's inauguration!!!!
What?!
How is this London News?
This is hero worship/religious mania of the Diana type.
I cannot for the life of me see anything other than an unhappy ending to all of this.
